Designing a name for the company engaged in selling diagnostic equipment our specialists created an abbreviation MedEO. In Russian it stands for Medical Electronic Equipment. Besides, the name is associated with the mountain range Medeo in Kazakhstan - one of the former Republics of the Soviet Union, and also with Medea - a sorceress in Greek mythology who was able to bring the dead back to life.

It is exactly the associations with mountain range that prompted us to come up with the slogan: “Peaks of medical technologies”.

When MedEO company started business with partners abroad there arose a necessity to decipher the acronym for clients outside Russia.
Our specialists found a precise and ingenious answer to the challenge:

The Russian slogan was based on a complicated play on words that might be interpreted as "The city is obssessed with basketball, absorbed in watching":
